Welcome to One Week with . . . Dotty Biscotti

I have been so excited for this week to finally get here.  I have LOVED the paper set from Papertrey Ink called Dotty Biscotti from its release.  Although I have used it a time or two, I have never taken the time to really play with it . . . until now.  So, sit back . . . relax . . . and each day this week I will have something new to share with you made with Dotty Biscotti.

I have 2 cards to share with you today.  I will admit that this week could almost be "One Week with Mat Stacks."  I used them on many of the things I have made and plan to make for this week.  So, let's get to it.

This first card is the one that started it all.  As soon as I put it together, I knew that I had found my inspiration for my next edition of One Week With.  This card came together effortlessly, and I loved the results.  Don't you love it when that happens?
Supplies - All Papertrey Ink unless noted:
Stamps: Mat Stack 1 Collection
Paper: Lemon Tart Dotty Biscotti, Lemon Tart, Vintage Cream
Ink: Tea Dye Duo, Dark Chocolate
Other: Jewels (Hobby Lobby); Mat Stack 1 Die Cut; Fine Linen Grosgrain Ribbon

I have one more quick one to share.  It came together much the same way, but it has a fun, playful side to it.  I am sorry that the glitter on my flowers photographed so funky.  I tried and tried, but I couldn't get it to turn out correctly.  It really isn't gold glitter.  :)  It is trasparent, clear glitter that I used to just barely highlight the heart flowers.

Supplies - All Papertrey Ink unless noted:
Stamps: Mat Stack 1 Collection, Love Tags 2010
Paper: Hawaiian Shores Dotty Biscotti, Hawaiian Shores, Fine Linen, Kraft
Ink: VersaMark; Hawaiian Shores, Dark Chocolate
Other: Fine Linen Grosgrain Ribbon, Mat Stack 3 Die, 1.75 Circle Punch (EK Sucess); Diamond Stickles

Thanks for looking today.  I am sorry that I posted so late in the day.  My family (except for lucky DH) is battling the flu.  Yes, the bonafide flu!!  I hope you come back and see what new things will happen this week.

Verve Scriptures - Day 4

As always, I have used the stamps as a background.  I made this card for a young lady in my church.  I think the style and colors really work for my audience.  I basically used every single plain jane that I own on this card.  I definitely could use a few more of these stamps.  The best part about them is that Verve is constantly releasing new scriptures in this line.  Aren't they so pretty all put together.  The fonts and design are perfection.

Supplies - All Papertrey Ink unless noted:
Stamps: Plain Jane Scripture Stamps (Verve)
Paper: Raspberry Fizz, Stampers Select White
Ink: Yellow (Michael's dollar bin as my match for Harvest Gold); Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Hawaiian Shores, Spring Rain
Other: Orange Flower (Wal-Mart); Raspberry Fizz Grosgrain Ribbon

Thanks for looking!  I hope you are enjoying this weeks edition of One Week With . . .

Verve Scriptures - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of One Week With . . . Verve's Plain Jane Scriptures.  I have really enjoyed using these stamps.  Truthfully, I get a lot of use out of these stamps.  And, I love that they are so inexpensive - totally worth the money.

It never occurred to me to pair these scriptures with the adorable crosses found in PTI's Everyday Blessings.  I was actually looking through my stamps for a totally different card and ran across these.  It hit me that these crosses were PERFECT with the adorable scriptures from Verve.  So, this card was born.

Thanks for joining me in my creative endeavors of exploring my stamps.  I hope you are enjoying this week.

Supplies - All Papertrey Ink unless noted:
Stamps: Proverbs 3:5 (Verve); Everyday Blessings
Ink: Scarlet Jewel, Hibiscus Burst, Aqua Mist
Paper: Rustic White, Hibiscus Burst
Other: Jewels (Dollar Store)

Week 3 - Try 2

Somehow, I totally botched December's One Week With.  So, how about another go?  Yes.  OK.

Welcome to One Week With . . . Scripture Plain Jane Stamps from Verve.  Please see the original first post for all the details.  So, this would make it Day 2 of this edition of One Week With.  Enjoy!

I have been wanting to try my hand at One Layer Cards or stamping only cards.  It was perfect for some thank you cards that I needed for Christmas.

I loved using my little discovery of subsituting the Guidelines stamps for snowflakes.  I don't have a single snowflake stamp and haven't looked back since my creative find.

Supplies - All Papertrey Ink unless noted
Stamps:  1 Corinthians 15:57 (Verve); Falling Leaves, Guidelines II
Ink: Sky Blue Pearl (Momento); Dark Chocolate, Spring Rain, Enchanted Evening
Paper: Rustic White
